Heavy Duty Slide Series
The Heavy Duty Slide Series groups our highest-capacity side mount rails, the workhorses for toolboxes, RV and camper storage, outdoor kitchens, workshop benches and industrial cabinets. This series spans 150 lb, 265 lb and 500 lb, in both cold-rolled steel and stainless steel, with full extension and locking options.
What separates the series from lighter furniture slides is the section. Thicker steel, a larger ball bearing cage and a reinforced inner rail keep the slide from flexing when the drawer is pulled out fully loaded. Several models are built for moving environments. The W2576 stainless 500 lb slide and the W2053 stainless 265 lb slide are the marine and outdoor choices.
Pick a series model when the drawer moves, gets wet, or carries real weight. For a stationary kitchen drawer, the lighter side mount range is enough and cheaper.

Heavy Duty Slide Series FAQ
What load ratings are in the Heavy Duty Series?
The series runs 150 lb, 265 lb and 500 lb per pair, in steel and stainless. Pick by the heaviest load the drawer will ever carry, then add a 25–30% margin.
Steel or stainless in this series?
Both. The W-prefix models, W2053, W2576, W5115, are stainless for outdoor, marine and wash-down use. The A-prefix models, A2053, A2576, A5115, are cold-rolled steel with a zinc finish for dry indoor and garage use.
Are these slides full extension?
Yes. Full extension is standard across the series, so the whole drawer clears the cabinet face. That matters for deep toolboxes and RV storage where reaching the back is the whole point.
Do Heavy Duty Series slides lock?
The series itself is the capacity line, and locking is a feature on specific models such as the D7625. If you need a lock, pick a locking model from the locking drawer slides category.
How much clearance do they need?
Most side mount heavy duty slides need about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch per side. Measure the opening, subtract the drawer box, divide by two, and confirm against the product dimensions before ordering.
Can I mount these on a moving vehicle?
Yes. That is a primary use. For RVs, campers and trucks, choose a locking model and bolt into solid material, not thin panel, or the cabinet will fail before the slide does.
